the video above is confusing me because it seems like she does not have the healthiest curly hair and she owns a salon? also i thought gel was bad curly hair because of alchohal?????

I heard that a pomade is good for curly hair. I think she's right about that. I think gel is bad for curly hair, but you have to use something. I like mousse, but i've heard that that's bad too. I dont use it everyday, just when i want my hair really curly. Anyway, i think it's just about what works for you.

i use gel sometimes but when i use a lot im left with like white stuff in my hair that looks like dandruff but it really is just the gel dried up on my hair. other than that occuring im not too sure about the alchohal content ask a beauty salon about it they should know.

some gel helps the hair curl. if u can find gel that helps the hair curl then its okay.
