Well, I have long black trimmed healthy naturally black hair.I wear my hair straight down.(My hair is up to my back and I keep it VERY clean!!) I usually NEVER wear my hair down. And I'm new to this school so, everyone, well to narrow it down, it's mostly the girls, are always complaining about something bad about me. There always talking about how I should put my hair up, and why do you lawasy leave it down, put it up. (And I don't like wearing it up because I just don't want to. Not that it looks bad or anything). And they're ALWAYS telling me to cut my hair and that it's too long and all that. One girl was walking behind me and she pretended to cough while saying "DEAD ENDS! DEAD ENDS!" And then another girl was like talking about "her" hair saying " I hate dead ends" and she looked at me while saying it. And I don't have any dead ends. It's like they care more about me then they do themselves. I'm trying not to let it get to me but it's hard. What do I do? I'm a very nice person.

Consult a pro just in case. Tell them with your hands how much you want them to trim. If not, they will get scissor happy, and the Mean Girls will get their way by default.

Personally, I think they are full of it because if you have dead ends, wearing ponytail would not make them go away. The must notice that your face is more flattering with your hair framing it, and they are trying to make you look less attractive.

Also, you are being bullied; and if you teachers are seeing this and not doing anything there is a problem. You are new, and they have already started on you so I see no way in which your being a snitch will hurt your rep. I was a snitch, and all people ever said about me that they were glad someone told.

Tell your parents, and have them talk to your dean where you will NAME NAMES! I never played that in school. I am too sensitive to just let people hurt me, and too cute to fight.

That's just jealousy, but seriously.... have your hair trimmed about 1/4 inch every five weeks or you will have split ends. I go in every six weeks and have 1/2 inch trimmed... and many people have told me how pretty and healthy my hair is.

Girls are catty. They probably wish that they could wear their hair as long as you do, so they are rude to you about it. As hard as it may be to do, try to ignore them. If you act like what they're saying bothers you or even tried to argue with them about it then they'll more than likely just do it more often. I know it's a pain in the butt now and it's hard to see things this way, but these girls are really just pathetic.
