Temporary hair dye?

I want to freak my boyfriend out and temporarily dye my hair blonde. i have medium brown hair and its healthy. whats a good kind to use? will the color come out right? like it would actually look blonde. how long does it last? and if i did this would it mess up my hair?

Temporary hair dye?

if you wanted it to look like reallllly blond and not just a little bit lighter, ur gonna have to get the dye that lasts for a month so i wouldnt recommend that if you dont want it for a month.

if you just want to freak him out and u dont really care wut color its gonna be then dye it black. its going to be easier becuz ur hair is already kinda dark. look up loreal color pulse and get electric black. it doesnt do any damage and it comes out in 8-10 shampoos

Temporary hair dye?

Hmm.....no it won't mess up you're hair b/c its dark and you're making it lighter right?? it will wash out after 1 or 2 showers...so you'll be fine.

Temporary hair dye?

L'oreal makes a line of hair colors that come out in 8-10 washes. I did the purple one for Halloween--sure, I looked like an eggplant for a week but at least it came out.

It doesn't mess up your hair because it coats the strand and doesn't permeate it. The color would probably look like a dirty blonde, not platinum but definitely lighter.

Happy dyeing!

Temporary hair dye?

Not a good idea! Using tempoary dye, it would either not work, or go ginger! Trust me, i learnt this the hard way!! Lol xx

Temporary hair dye?

Well I am not sure what it is called so probally not much help but it comes in a shiny bright orange almost tinfoil wrapper they have crazt colors like platnium blonde sheer ed and cozmic black.Me and my friend dyed our hair red and it come out in like 2 weeks, the package has a cartoon of a girl on it.Sorry I am not much help!

Temporary hair dye?

As a hair stylist i know for a fact that you cannot color your hair blonde temporarily...blonde is permanent..and if your hair is brown now u cannot lift the color of you hair from brown to blonde without using bleach

Temporary hair dye?

i don't think you should try it cause why ruin you hair if you like it and its (healthy)...if you wanna freak him out try a henna...if you don't have a tattoo.

Temporary hair dye?

Unfortunately if your hair is that dark a temporary blonde is going to be next to impossible temporarily, to get a true blonde you need to bleach out the brown and dye it the shade you want it to be. .

A few options:

Go to Sally Beauty or whatever professional hair store is near you and get spray on hair color. It may take playing with it a little to look natural and not like you spray painted your hair yellow but it is definitely the temporay for your hair and will wash out in 1 shampoo usually, check label some do take longer..

You might also be able to add a blonde tone, think all over summer highlights by dyeing it with kool-aid. Depending on the length of your hair you might need to mix up several batches of this - 1 tbsp. conditioner to 1 packet of lemonade Kool-aid (No sugaror water), rub into hair and leave in for 30 minutes or 10 minutes blow drying, then rinse. The benefit to this is you get a deep conditioning treatment at the same time and it washes out in 1 shampoo generally. If you really want to shock him you can use this recipe to dye it bright red, blue, green or purple, but these darker colors take a couple times to wash away. Never use the orange kool-aid or your hair will get brassy and it took me almost a month to wash away completely

Make sure if you buy a kit that says temporary or semi- permanent to avoid anything with peroxide, it will permanently alter you hair color and dry it out. There are Sun-in lightening products that are basically lemon juice that will give you blonde highlights but are permanent also, however these usually have some kind of conditioning added to keep your hair healthy.

If you do anything that is soppused to be temporary that doesn't wash away, take a shot of expresso and mix 50/50 with a deep conditioning treatment and leave in. It will darken your hair, totally safe and non-damaging and can be repeated if still too light.

Good luck and have fun!
