It is way to strong to put on your hair. If you want highlights L'oreal has a good product, it is a spray which lightens up a tone or two three depending how much you use it the sell it in US and in EU costs about 8閳?

Lemon is not good for your hair nor your scalp. Ever seen shampoo with lemon? If you want a natural product that is good for your hair than you can try egg whites, but I never tried it, my grand parents did and do some times and they have a bunch of hair still...

Hi i use lemon juice once for about a week and it ruined my hair as its pure acid, it left my hair brittle and frizzy and nothing could fix it also my hair went ginger not blonde. So i would say less healthy.The only way lemon is good for your hair is in small quantities like in shampoo and conditioner. try lemon and cammomile.

It will make your hair dry and if you use it everyday, your hair may end up real frizzy. Other than that, it will make your hair lighter in color. Don't think it strengthens the hair though...I won't reccomend it.

What lemon juice does for hair?

lemon juice is successful in highlighting hair

y? bcoz..

lemon= acid

Acid + oxygen + UV = bleaching.

It happens in the sun and air naturally, but slowly.

The acid in lemon juice helps it happen faster.

The chemistry is called acid-catalyzed oxidation.

It happens to a lot of carbon-based substances, hair included.

Its not damaging though, but what color is your hair? If your hair is dark it WILL NOT give you sunny blond highlights; instead your hair will turn very, very orangy. I did it when I was in like 6th grade and was very disappointed with the results.
