Dryed hair..frizzy and split ends!?

I needs some advice or help on how to get my hair back to healthy. I do use blowdryers and flat irons..and I know thats my problem..so I've cut back on it. It seems as though I have tried everything to help my hair, but nothing helps. I thought all I needed was a trim, to get rid of my split ends, but it still looks the same. Today I got a haircut about an inch thinking it would get rid of the problem..but my hair still the same. its seems as though i have to shave it off and regrow it again!!

Dryed hair..frizzy and split ends!?

I had the same problem with my hair when I had it dyed. What I found works well is a cheap conditioner and shampoo you can buy just about anyway (example: walmart, walgreens, cvs, etc...) Its in a pink bottle and its called "Vive Pro". It works great and should take care of this no problem :D hope I was helpful.

well..the same things kinda happened to my hair

idk if this is your problem or not...but i think i just need a haircut...trim to be exact =]

so maybe you just need a little taken off....!

Dryed hair..frizzy and split ends!?

have you tried the hot oil hair treatments that you leave in for two mins?? they make a dramatic improvement after a couple of weeks. Or something i do myself at home that works out really well is if you pile on alot of conditioner to towel dried hair not so much near the top of your head and the roots as it will make your hair greasy but to the long part of your hair and the ends etc and wrap it up in a towel for and hour while watchin tv and then wash it all out, your hair actually feels soooo soft its unbelievable. Good trick, hope i helped ", xxx

Trim of those damaged ends immediatly before they get worser and make your hair look ugly.

Healthy hair tips:

Use a moisturizing shampoo condtioner and leave in creme. I reccomened Neutrogena Triple Moisture, shampoo conditioner and deep recovery hair mask. It nourishes and

revitalizes dry dull damaged hair to softer shinier healthier hair everytime you wash it, it might cost alot but it's worth it;

If you dye your hair alot, leave your hair alone and wait to dye it atleast 3 years later or so. Hair dye has terrible chemicals that kill dry/damage your hair.

Brush your hair before shampooing and conditioner so your hair won't be tangeled and managable.

Comb your hair about 20 times each side so your natural oils can fall into the rest of your hair for natural shine

Don't wash your hair everyday try 3 times a week, Washing hair everyday strips the natural oils of your hair into duller dry hair.

Discontinue to heat style your hair or your hair will end up more dry/damaged, wait till it's completely healthy and maybe heat style once a week.

Avoid combing hair while wet, gently use a wide tooth comb, hair is very vulnerable while wet and can break off easily.

Don't put your hair into pigtails, buns or ponytails while wet, that causes split ends, breakage and damage.

Deep condition twice a week to bring back moisture to your hair.

Trim your hair tips every 4-6 weeks to promote healthy hair grow and prevent split ends from happening.

While shampooing massage your scalp with your fingertips slowly, not with your nails, nails damage the scalp and nails tend to be dirty. it's not necessary to shampoo the ends, then rinse with warm water to open the hair cuticles.

While conditioner leave on for about 2-4 minutes so you can get great results then comb hair with wide tooth comb then rinse with very cold water to help seal the hair cuticles.

If you use gel/hairspray/moose stop using them. They damage and dry up your hair because of the alchohol it contains.

If you use heat appliaces (blowdryers, curling irons, hair straightener) use a heat protecter spray so it'll protect your hair from heat.

If hair is really dry, go to the salon to get a deep treatment on your hair.

Once a month use a special deep conditioning treatment like olive oil, vitamin e oil, mayonaisse, eggs, hot oil treatment, castor oil, coconut oil almond oil or avocado.

Take multivimains, vitamin e, follic acid or prenatal vitamins to promote healthy hair growth.

Drink lots of water for shinier/healthier hair and eat lots of protein and healthy food like meat, milk, cheese, peanut butter, eggs pasta, cooked beans and raw vegetables.

If your in the sun alot buy a cap or a hoodie to protect your hair from the sun, heat damages and drys out your hair.

Buy a leave-in-conditioner/leave-in conditioner/creme to moisturize your hair all day long and don't rinse.

After your out of the shower set your blowdryer on cool setting and blowdryer your hair for 2 minutes, this will help seal the hair cuticles for a smooth shiny surface.

While combing hair, comb it gentle to avoid breakage.

Dryed hair..frizzy and split ends!?

If you can get a couple of hair products that would help you a great deal. There are all kinds of Flat Iron products by Chi that you use before flat ironing your hair that helps against the torture. But it works great. They also have a serum called Silk Infusion that you apply afterwards, makes hair soft, shiny and frizz free. It is awesome...you can also mix it with body lotion for your skin or put it in your bath.

Matrix makes a spray called Instacure that helps with split ends. Its a miracle in a bottle:) If you cant get these products, try and get a good moisturizing cond. and leave it in for awhile.

Good luck!!

continue with your hair cuts everymonth and leave your conditioner on as long as possible. use a deep conditioner 1-2 times a week and leave in as long as possible ( i sometimes sleep with mine on and rinse it out in the morning). you are right the iron and hairdryer are very drying so try to avoid it. also do not shampoo every day. if you can do it every other day you should see improvements. don't get discouraged be patient and you will see a difference. oh and finally get salon quality shampoo, the stuff in the grocery store is horrible i don't know how people use it. good luck.

Try a hot oil treatment you can buy these at your local drug store. You may also want to get your thyroid checked out. The signs of a thyroid condition is extreme dryness to the hair. Also medications heavy antibiotics can cause this reaction.

I like to use VO5 hot oil treatment once a month it really helps and go buy a deep condition treatment or have your hairdresser do a deep chemical treatment on your hair that can restore a lot of damage too.

Good Luck

Dryed hair..frizzy and split ends!?

get a trim every 6 weeks, apply a hot oil treatment every week while at home cover your head with a shower cap and apply some heat to it..leave on for a 1/2 hour....

Learn to love your hair in it's natrual state and leave it in leave in conditioner and style it..lay off the blow and falt irons so much if your not really going anywhere special...this should help.

Bio-Slik. It works just a quarter size in your hand!!! You can get it at Wal-Mart or Walgreens.

Dryed hair..frizzy and split ends!?

If your using blowdryers and flat irons use products to protect your hair.

Having your hair cut will remove the split ends but

give your hair a hydrating treatment every week, twice a week, our hair changes with the climate too and maybe you need to change your shampoo/conditioner to suit for dryer, fizzy ends!

Dryed hair..frizzy and split ends!?

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Use a teaspoon of every oil and honey,.... a little more if ur hair is long or a little less if ur hair is short

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed, fortify, reconstruct, moisturize, soften %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can also use a conditioner but get a light conditioner that wont wiegh ur hair down, becuz u can over condition, I use herbl essences "clean happy" conditioner.

When I do this at nite, I wake up, shampoo %26amp; condition, rinse and style as usual. Has worked for years

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.
