yes, you have come to the right place hun,

african or african american hair needs special attention away from white/spanish/indian/ect

so here is a great regime to get ur hair full, long, and lusterous

start by chosing a great shampoo.... i use motions or silk elements. then get a great conditioner. i use motions critical protection and repair, other known as CPR, then purchase

different hair lubricants. i use wonder 8 oil, olive oil, shea butter hair grease, or BB hair grease, (yes..no matter what anyone says use hair grease it won't clog ur pores and will leave it silky.

then purchase a du-rag.

then purchase a very wide tooth comb.

ok now. wash your hair once a week. i do every saturday night. shampoo it

put the conditioner in it and put a plastic cap over it.

let sit for 20 mins

then detangle hair in the shower under water.

afterwards apply wonder 8 oil...don't use too much.

and cover. get dressed and get out a blow dryer. start blowdrying with the blowdryer comb attached to the end.

when hair feels dry simply apply oil or hair grease.

after hair is dry USE A FLAT IRON!!!!! it's the best thing for getting african hair silky...i get the gold n hot ceramic.

start flat ironing in small sections applying oil or grease where needed. after complete hair should be glossy. i would suggest you get someone else to trim the ends but u MUST trim the ends every other time u wash. must.

at night wrap the hair up in your du-rag so not exposed to the pillow.

tips:

don't brush or comb hair that often it will break and fall out.

u can purchase ALL of these things at your local beauty supply store. trust me it's all easy to find!!

remember growing hair takes patience so don't give up. you should start seeing growth in about 2 months.

i've been doing this for a year and a half and my hair is all the way down my back...remember keep it soft with oils and things...but not too much!!!

good luck

You may not like it but the best thing that you can do is to cut it in a cute little shape and let it grow back healthy.

try egg white washes for protein and cut off split ends so they don't suck up your haiors nutrients. Buy the coolest hat you can find and make it a fashion statement for the next 3-6 months till your hair is repaired. Use conditioner and baby shampoo -that's the least harsh on your hair. Good luck!

First of all your hair isnt going to grow properly if you have damaged or split ends.

you should go to your hair dresser to trim the ends off althoughh this will make it shorter it will grow much quicker afterwards.

once you have had this done, you can buy shampoos although i cant remeber a name of one at the moment which hydrate hair and will help restore the oils and nutrients into your hair so that it will be healthy again.

good luck :D

- get a good trim.

- avoid blowdrying, straightening, or curling your hair.

- deep condition your hair (even just leaving "leave-in conditioner" in your hair, or leaving normal conditioner in your hair for 10-20 mins).

- try not to use hair products like hairspray that dry your hair out.

GOOD LUCK, hope it helped:)

i think u should wash your hair 2 times a week. and try to keep oils and cremes on hair! you should get a satin pillowcase to sleep on

first of all perm your hair almost every month, then everyday grease your hair plus in the scalp, and comb your split ends gently, dont brush your hair for a while not unless you really really really need it cause it eats up your hair and try diff. hair particles

if your hair just doesnt grow at all you should ask a stylist if there are any creams or treatments to move it along. otherwise dont do the braids or color your hair. use a moisterizing conditioner and hair masks. i hear avocado hair masks are good.

Intense hair moisturizer, sun protectant, cap, good shampoo, less stress, 8/10 glasses of water, nuts and milk in food, less junk food

You need to get your hair cut short and have all the split ends, chemically ruined parts, and mismatched lengths taken out once and for all. You don't have to do it all at once; my hair was very long and very damaged from at-home dye jobs, so I had it cut to my shoulders to get the worst of the damage out and I'm letting the rest come off in the next months as I get it trimmed to maintain the cut. Your hair won't grow until the splits and damage are gone, just break.
