My hair grows about 4 1/2 inches in 6 months and it barely touches my shoulders when its curly. How long would it take for my hair to grow past the middle of my back? And what should I do to keep my hair thick and healthy and keep the ends from drying out and breaking? Is there anything I can do to make my hair grow faster?? Im half African American, so i can use any hair products for black people as well, like hair and scalp grease/conditioner, thats what i usually use and it makes my hair soft and not frizzy when its curly. It depends on how tall you are. It should take about a year (I measured on myself) to get past your chest and another 6 months for it to get in the middle of your back. It should grow about 13 1/2in. I started using Garnier Frutics legnth and strenght. It smells wonderful and the conditioner makes your hair super soft and shiny. Ive only been using it for 2 weeks and once a week and my hair already looks longer. While Im conditioning it, I put it in a shower cap and sit on the couch in my robe and watch tv for about 20-30 min. I live on the third floor of my house by myself so Its really easy to do that. You can also do a hot oil treatment once a week too. They make your hair really soft and shiny. Make sure that you trim your hair every 4-8 weeks to get rid of split ends because they can split up and mess up your new growth if you let it get to far. Good luck. You can't make it grow faster, it grows at it's own rate. Keep it well conditioned and keep the ends trimmed.

i suggest getting your hair cut about every 6 weeks. also u can get calcium from costco...the have in choclate flavors. if u want to make yur hair more healthy. to make yur hair longer i suggest use garnier fructis shampoo and conditionar, hard to grow hair.
